We are so pleased you have purchased a Dynamic rug. As with any investment, proper care and cleaning will increase the lifetime of your rug.

As dust and dirt wears away at the fibers of your rug we recommend regular and thorough vacuuming in the direction of the pile. When vacuuming, go slowly over the surface to allow for maximum dust and dirt removal.

When vacuuming fringe or shag, be sure to apply caution and care as well as avoid using a a suction setting or a beater bar - depending on the strength of the vacuum and whether the beater bar is engaged, threads can get stuck in the vacuum. Remember to always follow your vacuum cleaner�s manufacturer instructions.

All stains are different and should be treated differently. Furthermore, the construction and material of the rug will also affect the form of treatment for stains and soiling.

The following instructions are only meant as general advice. Payless Rugs accepts no responsibility for damages caused by proposed treatments. We recommend using a professional cleaning or dry-cleaning service for optimal care.

For most stains, a mild ivory dish washing soap and water will do wonders.

For tougher stains, ammonia or vinegar may also be necessary. Avoid any product containing bleach. We recommend always pretesting any method in an inconspicuous spot on the rug.

Cleaning spills and stains immediately will prevent penetration of the liquid into the pile fiber, which may result in a more difficult to remove stain.

We recommend blotting up liquids by applying pressure with a clean white towel or cloth. Always work from the exterior of the stain inward; never rub, scrub, or use a brush. Wipe gently, while turning the cloth frequently.

To protect the pile, always dab in the direction of the pile. Be careful not to soak your rug when cleaning- too much moisture can cause streaking, mildew and shrinkage. Once the stain has been removed, blot up the moisture with a clean towel or cloth.
