Any rug size 5' x 7'6" or smaller, including all runners, can fit into a washing machine thats 3.4 cubic feet or bigger; 6' x 9' rugs require a washer thats 4.2 cubic feet or bigger; 7'6" x 9'6" rugs require a washer thats 4.8 cubic feet or bigger; 9' x 12' rugs must be washed in a commercial washer with at least a 60-lb. capacity.
